FROM THE WOLCOTT PRINCIPAL'S DESK Starting .. the second semester of tine year Wolcott School embarks on a journey with new educational ideas. The wheels were set in motion toward a new program of cooperative agriculture education with a meeting held including staff members and local business mien. This program will give &tn dents a chance to work and study in agriculture equipment repair and sales. There are 6 - 10 schools in Indiana who have been chosen to
participate in this new pnogram. Team teaching, an involvement of two or more teachers in. instruction of a course will be used in a' social studiets class (beginning in the spring semester. This type of teaching ishould be stimulating to both students and teachers. . Kindergarten will at last be a nealtiy in the Tri-Coun-ty School System. It is almost certain that this addition to the Corporation's educational program will be
a great boost to next fall's
new 1st grade students.
The Woloott community can look with pride to the Business Department and its
venture toward adult educa
tion. This, program will be

hood. She was selected by a panel of three judges, Mrs. Charles Vaughn, Lafayette, Al Stewart, director of music at Purdue, and Lafayette

completing a two year secretarial course- at Indiana University, she ,is isecretary- . receptionst at Rea Magnet Wire Co. at Lafayette. Miss Karen dhristensen of Monon was picked as first runner-iup, and Miss Judy Heiny of Monon was second runneerup-.

KINDERGARTEN TO START JANUARY 24th The Kindergarten for TriCounty Schiool . Corporation will start January 24th and run for 12 weeks, ending April 22nd. At Remington the Kindergarten will be held in the
Catholic School, and at Wolcott it will be in the Education Building of this Wolcott Christian Church.
All children who will be
six years old before Septem
ber 1, 1966 are eligible to attend and should : register
right away. Thostei who are
in ' the GdJIboaJtemington area should register with Mr. Utter at the Remington
school. Those in the Wol-
cott-Round Grove area should register with Mr. Christo
pher at Wolcott School. There will be two sessions,
one in the morning ior one-
half of the children, and one in the afternoon for the remaining children. Bus transportation will be worked out so parents will only make one trip a day. The Kindergarten will be provided without expense to the parents. Your cooperation is need
ed so that each child will be registered; as soon as possible and plans can be completed for a fine learning experience for:; your, child.'-

Mrs. Charles E. Fox Jr.
and son, Charles E. Ill of Orlando, Florida, were guests for two weeks in the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Troxel. : Mrs. Troxel re
turned with them Sunday to
be with them or several
weeks.
Mrs. Fox's husband, 1st
Lt. Fox is stationed in Oki
nawa for two months' where he pilots a tanker plane
which retfuels other planes in
the Viet Nam area.
