Following the singing of a

hymn, a short business meeting was conducted. Devotions were given by Helen Rlume. Mrs. Claudine McCollum and Mrs. Darlene Wheeler sang a duet. The guest speaker, Mrs. Ruby Johnson, District W. 8. C, S. president, and Mrs. Helen White, District Guild secretary, were Introduced. They explained the work of the women's groups of the church. After a discussion period, the meeting was closed with prayer. Refreshments were served in the church dining area.

CARD OF THANKS I want to thank those who visited me, and sent me cards, flowers and food while I was in the hospital. A Special thanks to Rev. SbldolT, Rev. Walker and Rev. Searcy for their visits and prayers. Those words of moral courage will never be forgotten. May God's blessing rest on each of you. Relle White

Mr. Fred Lucas from Ohio spent the past week with his sister and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilson. Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Wilson visited Rev. and Mrs. Ivan Woods at Kokomo and explored the new St. Lukes E. IT. R. church, where Rev. Woods Is pastor. The first service in the new church was held September 15 with oyer 400 present.
