An enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Georgia Bollior when the Tuesday Night Bridge Club met there February IS. All members were ' present ' despite the cold weather. Delicious refreshments .were served by the hostess. Jessie Itoze of Lafayette was guest player. Prize for high score went to Elvcra Nelson aiid Grace Cowgill won second. The club will have their next meeting at the home of Gwen I'ender March I.

The .bridegroom's gift to the bride was a sterling silver pin. The young couple . was attended , by the bridegroom's sister, ,Mrs. Lillian Johns of Chalmers, who wore' a two piece gray dress with brown and gray accessories. Her corsage was also formed of pink and white canielias. : Serving as attendant for the bridegroom was his brother. Jack Thompson of Chalmers. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for the immediate families. The bride is a graduate of Wolcott high school, class of 1!)W. and she has ecu employ-' ed at the Rexall drug store at Monticello. William Fields House Burns at Round Grove The six room house of Mr. and Mrs. William Fields and family !) miles west of Brookston in Round Grove township burned to the ground Friday night about 8 o'clock. The family was not. at home but were attending a basket ball game at the time. Very few of the contents' of the house were saved. The origin of the fire is not known.
