GBITUABY Jasper N., second son of Silas and Lourana Jordan, was born near Vernon, Aug. 2, 1S43. His entire life, excepting- the four years from 1831 to 1S65, during which he voluntarily served hl9 country during the Civil War, was lived in Jennings

County. When the call came for vol
