Wheth er ihe sender was a sinner or not, is not stated. If he is not, he must be a good Christian, and also has our thanks. F. M. SV.MME3. "nilnd CJeorge to tlie Front Again. Ed- News: In an issue of your paper, a few weeks previous, there appeared an article from Dr. William B. Gilliatt, of Unionville, in which he attempts to justify himself for taking pay from the tax payers of Orange county for medical attention to my family, and also charges me with dishonesty and breach of trust, by riding his mule, which was atone time pasturing on my land. I did ride the mule, because he (Gilliatt) requested me to do so; bntnot without, his solicitation, and he knows this can be proven. Doctor, I have been informed that you handle the truth very carelessly when you make those charges. As to the charge of $29.64 you speak of leaving with Justice Stinson, this is false, and you know it. I do not owe you a cent. By your charge against the county, and the pay you received therefrom, I am released from j'our debt; but j istly owe the county treasury the amount of your claim, which I propose to pay at the next session of the Board. Doctor, I am blind, but have always tried to be honest; and I am willing to balance truth and vare.city with you in the neighborhood in which we both live. Yours, "Bi.ikd" George Mri,ett.
