"Ut tuKc. The democracy of the great stale of Indiana, in convention assembled, declared in favor of tho repeal of tho resumption act; for tho substitution of greenbacks for national bank notes, and for the remcnotiKation of the silver dollar. The convention that gave utterance to the above declarations was the largest and most intelligent ever held in the state. The resolutions were adopted without a dissenting voico. The demands expressed by tho resolutions are tho outspoken wants of tho democracy of Indiana and of many Republican voters. Tho democrats in congress, under tho leadership of Ewing and Voorliees, have been able to rcmonetizo tho silver dollar. With a strong, united eriort the democracy at tho next session of congress will be able to repeal the resumption act and substitute greenbacks for the national bank notes. In viow of thece important i.3."ue3 in which every cliicu is deeply interested, it behooves the democracy of the great State of Inditma to unite in solid phalanx against the party of corruption and dish onesty, which has by appealing to prejudices engendered by the late war been enabled to retair, power at tho expense of the. best interests of our beloved country. Let no democrat bo has 3 enough to desert his party when tho battle is nearly over and victory already assured. TjOQ 'outpost Pharos ALBERT HOUSE PAOLI, END.
