CATS WIN BY SO POINTS OVER KLONDIKE Powerful Wolcott continued their winning ways last weekend by traveling to Klondike Friday night to trounce the Nuggets 87 57 and to Royal Center on Sat if day to win a closer contest over Pionwr. 67-63 These were both Midwest Conference games, by coming out on top Wolcott is now tud for fust place in the conference In Saturday's game it was tight all the way Pioneer led at the initial stop 10-20. at ha 1ft in Wolcott was in front 32-31 When the third quarter ended Wolcott was on the top end of a 51-48 score, and when the game ended the mighty Cats had won another one 67-63 Top scorers for the Cats were Lou Cain and Denny Mat hew with 16 each Next in line was Kent LeBeau scoring 12 points Wolcott ended the ganw with 35 of 81 shots from the field for 43 percent, and 17 of 26 free throw attempts The B team beat Klondike 42-39

They led the entire game but by not more than five points until the final minutes of the fourth quarter. The team's high scorer was Chris Luthi .
