These gilts combined with a queenly statelines of person and beauty of lace make her a phenomenal artist. Miss Pierse began at an early age tit Cincinnati under Mr Theodore Thomas he appeared in concerts in Cincin nati. Chicago and Cleveland. She has rec nt ly si mlied with the great teachers. At the recent great musical festiaal at Omaha Miss l'ierse divided the solos of the "Messiah" with Mme. Fursch-Madi, singing the higher re citatives and arias, including the rreat test piece " Rejoice (Jreatlv". The Omaha Bee says of her: "Mis l'ierse is the handsomest young women in the profession. Her complexion is that of the blush rose, fresh and transparent. Her eve are large and expressive of appreciative niiles and equable temperament.
