Charles Ferguson who is teaching in Clay township, came home Monday sick, and was advised by his physician to rest a few days. Otto Tyring and Bertha Shoulders were married last Sunday evening. Henry Tyring, one of our hustling German farmers, is building a handsome residence on his farm adjoining town. Elder J. F. Ross of Illinois, is here this week with his family, visiting his mother Mrs. J. F, Ross. William Perigo and wife of near Oakland City, was here Tuesday visiting A. M. Webb, the latter’s brother. W. L. McKinney has bought a farm in South Fork bottom and has a saw mill on it and will build a large barn. He says there is no prosperity in cattle and will try his luck in real estate.
