Lest in the Stornt. Obe of <mr local editors clipped from a leading magazine extracts from a vivid dis> seripuoaof a western blizzard which we bare taken the liberty to publish and nt the same tune suggest to H. H. Warner & C<\, the proprietors of the celebrated Warner’s Safa Cure, the feasibility of taking therefrom an extract for tha in trodaetion of one of their telling advertisements. The following is the description: “At the close of a dark dav in January a solitary horseman weuds his way across the open prairie in one of our western territories. He passes at long intervals the lone cabin of the hardy frontiersman. Two or tnree old settlers, of whom he has inquired the way, have warned him that a storm is approaching, and one of them, with true western hospitality, urges him to find shelter in his cabin far the night. But be declines the proffered kindness and urgjfs Ids tired horse forward. * * * The sky trows suddenly dark. •** He decides to seek shelter. * * * The storm mcreaaei in its fury. * * * The rider dismounts to'warm his fast chilling Limbs. • * * Can scarcely breathe. Blindness comes on. Drowsiness steals over him. The end is near. I • * • He ie lost in the biimanL " There is no doubt that the terror; which seizes the bewildered traveler is similar to that which overcomes one when he jl earns that he is suffering from an advanced Kidney Disease, and is informed that hje itt in the last stages of Bright's disease. At tt rst he is informed that he has a slight ktduev affection. Later he begins to feel! tiled. Slight headache. Fickle appetite. Failure af the eye-sight. Cramp in the calf of the legs. Wakefulness. Distressing nervousness. Rheumatic and neuralgic pains. Occasionally pain in the back. Scanty, dark colored fluids, with scalding sensation. Gradual failure of strength. Any of the above symptoms signify Kid aey Affect ioewbut he is told that h» in all right. His iRysician treats him for symptoms and calls it a disease, when in; reality t is but a symptom of Kidney troubjie. He may be tested fogrheumatic or neuralgic pa.ns lioare affection, or any other disease which he is moat susceptible to. Finally tho patient has puffing under the eye#, slight bloating of t ae ankles and legs. His physician may inform him that it is but the accumulation of b ood in his ankles fpr want of proper exercise. The bloat continues and reuches bis tody. Then he is informed he has d'optical troubles, and is tapped once or twi ». He nota-es it is difficult to breathe owitkg to irregular action of the heart, and finally is informed that he has a slight at ;aeli of Bright’s Disease. Soon his frtet ds are notified that his is an advanced case of Bright's Disease, and that he can U re hot a short time. His honorable and dignified physician asks for counsel. It is tw late. Bull he sticks to the old family pt ysician. and the physician knows and has known from the beginning that the patirnt ha^ been stricken with death for month t, far he knows full well that the profession s ekuowledge they have no remedies for thi tcureof Kiduey Disease. At last the patient suffocatee-rii smothered—and dies from dropsical trouble. Or perhaps tho disease may not take be form of a iijfops,c.-d. tendency.and the patient dies from apoplexy, ptralysis, pneumonia or h-'art trouble. Or it may lake the form of blood poisoning. In each form the end is tho same. And yet ho and bis friends were warned by t he proprietors of the «lobrated remedy known as Warner's Safe Cure, of th“ lurking dangers of a slight Kidney affection The newspapers have published the dangers. Columns of facts have beei i printed of men dying from advanced Kidney Disease or Bright's Disease. His friends and physician look urouud with horre r and regret for seeming neglect, but ho is lost. He did not heed tho* warning that a st ini was approaching. He declined the jroffered hospitality, and went recklessly j forward into danger. He struggled manfully for a time, but his strengtn failed, and ho grew gradually weaker and he was lost to the world. Not in a blizzard, but front the ter nb.e malady which is almost daiiyjx-eurring in every community, aud which is dtctored as' a symptom instead of what | it is,—a mortal disease unless properly Fim-riTi (women of Utica.
