In politics, he has beet a Democrat ever since be cast bis volt for Andrew Jack son for President. In religion, he is a Regular Baptist, and a consistent church member. II le never sought position in the churitb, aud has never been an aspirant Ion any office. Such is the history of Lorimzo Flow Parker, whose long life we nscribe to temperance and piety.
