His road north from Washington will be of incalculable benefit to us, and as Mr! Circuit Court has been giving most of its time to divorce and criminal cases during the past week, and the evidence in a divorce and a ease of adultery was of a nature grossly im-i pure. A good time is in store for all visitors. A joyous party of young folks as sembied at the 'residence of Sheriff Shi-ode Friday evening, the occasion being the 20th birthday of his daughter, Miss Lizzie, and the hours were pleasantly spent with music, mirth, and the partaking of a splendid spread of ices, cakes and fruits. The ladies of the M. E. Church will give a raspberry festival in the Court house park to-night. Delicacies will be served by these ladies in their usual handsome manner, and all who attend the festival to-night will be sure to enjoy the evening and a feast of delicious edibles. We acknowledge receipt of an invitation to attend the second annual meeting of the Bartholomew eouutv Wheelman, at Columbus, Iud., July 3d and 4th.
