A Serious Accident. An accident of a very serious nature occurred on the grounds of tue C. C. & L railway, in this town, last Monday, bv which a young man lost a leer, and may yet lose his life. The train was switching in the vard, and one of the brakemen named Jqsepb Edmonds, wh MS n udenee is in Peru, in attempting to cross the track in front of the moving train, caught his foot in the track, throwing him forward, with his left leg OU the track, the wheels of the first ear passing over it. mangling it horribly.
