M. were, installed last Friday evening by W. J. Case, who acted as installing officer. After the installation refreshments were served.

The Red Cross distributed 4000 blankets to the returned prisoners concentrated at Nancy and established a canteen which fed several thousand men.

The January communion will be observed at the East Church next Sunday, Jan. 5th. Sermon topic, “Home Fires,” with reference to the boys now in France. The annual meeting of the East Church will be held on Friday, January 10th, when one trustee will be elected.

Orland Boys are all safe
As far as we are able to learn, all of the Millgrove towuship boys who have been in the service have > been heard from and all are safe and sound.
The Millgrove Creamery Company’s station sent fourteen cans of cream to the creamery yesterday morning which were taken in Saturday and Monday.

Mrs. Clyde Hedglin is quite sick. Her mother is here from Mongo, helping care for her. Homer and Herman Fisher and and families were here from Elkhart to spend Christmas. Fred Speers has discontinued hauling freight and Perry McKibben has taken over the job.
