An ordinance relating to the licensing of shows and theatrical performances. Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the town of Orland:
Section 1. That a in the sum of one dollar, to exhibit, for pay, any caravan, circus, rope or wire dancing, legerdemain, ventriloquism, puppet show, concert, theatrical performance, orany other exhibition of whatever name or description by? traveling troupe or troupes, individually or collectively, in the corporate limits of the town of Orland, shall be paid for each separate performance. Section 2. A ny person or persons violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, shall upon conviction, be fined in a sum equal the amount of license required, Section Whereawan emergency exists for the immediate taking effect of this ordinance the same shall be of force and effect from and after its passage.
