pass from Cain to Moore in the back left comer of the end zone and a PAT kick by DeLaPaz put the Minutemen back in front 10-9 at the half. After a fine performance during the intermission by the Red Regiment marching band, Concord took the second half kickoff and marched deep into North Wood territory but a third-down tackle for loss by Panther defensive end Jake Lone forced another field goal by DeLaPaz. The 38-yard kick was right down the middle, giving the Minutemen a 13-9 advantage. A big sack by Concord's Cameron Lain forced a North Wood punt on the Panthers' first possession of the second half, but on the first play after the kick, junior safety Jaden Miller picked off a Cain pass attempt and returned it 65 yards for a North Wood touchdown. The PAT kick was blocked but the Panthers held a 15-13 lead that they would never relinquish. Incredibly, on the next Concord series, the Black Crunch defense scored again, this time on a 70-yard interception return by fleet-footed sophomore Kyle Sellers who picked off a Cain pass and bolted up the left sideline all the way to paydirt. Sanchez nailed the PAT and just like that, North Wood had a twoscore lead at 22-13. It stayed that way until the early fourth quarter when after a Panther fumble, Concord drove 42 yards in five plays with Cain rumbling in from a yard out to narrow North Wood's lead to 22-20. Three straight series ending in punts gave the ball to Concord inside their own one-yard line with 4:42 to play but after getting to midfield, the Black Crunch held yet again and a fake punt by the Minutemen failed. North Wood then sealed the victory when Yoder, who had been in and out of the game with leg cramps, raced 40 yards for his second TD

of the night. Sanchez' PAT made it a two-score game again at 29-20 Panthers, and Garrett Anglemyer recovered a Concord fumble with just over a minute remaining to ice the win. North Wood finished with 217 yards on the ground on 50 attempts, led by the relentless Yoder who carried 31 times for 186 yards and two scores. Yoder and Nate Newcomer combined to go 5 of 9 passing for 40 yards. Newcomer also paced the Black Crunch defense with nine tackles, while Yoder added seven stops and Kyler Hauptli five in the win. Concord did not quite crack the century mark on the ground, rushing for 99 yards on 26 attempts with Cain's 77 yards and a TD leading the way. Through the air, Cain was 19 of 38 for 279 yards and a score, but suffered two interceptions that were both returned for touchdowns. The Minuteman defense was led by nine tackles from sophomore Jen'Dariun Greer and eight apiece from Spencer
