The greenhouse also allowed for the program to grow about 2,000 plant starts that were distributed among the program's sixteen gardens throughout Elkhart County, one of which is located on North Main Street in Nappanee. The produce is then distributed at the Church Community Services food pantry and other pantries throughout Elkhart County. The greenhouse is set to be moved over the weekend of September 11 -13. "We believe that Church Community Service's Seed to Feed program is another excellent example of our mission to improve the quality of life in Elkhart County by inspiring generosity," said Pete McCown, president of the Community Foundation. "We are pleased with what they've presented to us and we expect them to be successful in their efforts.
