Another banner season for Chamber Golf Outing
by Amy Lant-Wenger Editor NAPPANEE - It was another successful outing for the 15th annual Joint Chamber Golf Outing, a collaboration between the communities of Wakarusa and Nappanee. This year's contest was held on Tuesday, June 12 at McCormick Creek Golf Course in Nappanee. There was an abundance of players and volunteers to ensure a memorable event, and the weather was as pristine as it could be for a day in June. Several players received honors and door prizes throughout the course of the day. Those so honored included the following teams and individuals:
Jeff Stillson painted fence
Photos by Dale Tobias Nappanee certainly has more than a fair share of attractions with artistic flair, and it's rather likely that these sculptures, designs, and murals had some inspiration from Jeff Stillson. This locally renowned artisan was captured by photographer Dale Tobias working on a simple but dazzling art project for a residence in the East Centennial Street corridor near Nappanee Elementary School. The brilliant and bold end result livens up the fence with three dimensional color.
