Wa-Nee district on Tuesday, March 20 from 1-6 p.m. The three schools that will be enrolling prospective kindergarten students are Wakarusa Elementary, Nappanee Elementary, and Woodview Elementary. Parents are asked to bring their child with them, along with a birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency. Book discussions at NPL NAPPANEE The next meeting of the Cover to Cover Book Qub will take place at the Nappanee Public Library on Wednesday, March 21 from 6:30-8 p.m. Titles alternate between fiction and non-fiction. This will be the final Beginning Story Hour class for this season. LEARN TO CLEAR CLUTTER NAPPANEE Learn how to organize specific areas in your home and life during a series of courses at the Nappanee Public Library. Learn the tips and tricks to contain the clutter! NURSERY SCHOOL ENROLLMENT WAKARUSA school year, and the Wakarusa Nursery School will be having an Open House on Thursday, March 22 from 4-7 p.m. Come and visit anytime with your child, and ask any questions you may have. There will be two classes offered for the 3-4 year olds, one from 9-11 a.m., and another from 1-3 p.m. The cost is $65 per month. There will also be two classes available for the 4-5 year olds, 8:45-11:15 a.m. and 12:45-3:15 p.m., and that cost is SBO per month. Upon sign up, there will be a $35 registration fee which will guarantee a spot in the class. Pre-registration for returning children will also be taking place, and forms will be available. LESSONS IN RAIN GARDENING NAPPANEE On Saturday, March 24, the Elkhart County Master Gardeners will be offering a free seminar at the Nappanee Public Library, 157 N. Main St.. The topic will be Beginning Gardening. The program will last from 10 a.m. until noon. Simple tips for beginning gardeners will be discussed. Everyone should be able to come away with a few good ideas to help cultivate your own garden in 2018. Discussion items include how to plan your garden, what tools to use, and how to choose and start seeds. Need help obtaining seeds? Seeds are now available to be "checked out" at NPL's seed library, so stop by the reference desk for a peek. No registration for this program is necessary. LOCAL ARTISTS FEATURED BREMEN Plan now to attend "An Afternoon With Area Artists" at the Bremen Public Library on Sunday, March 25 from 2-5 p.m. Many local artisans, including several from the Wa-Nee region, will be displaying and selling their various arts and crafts. Light refreshments will be served as well as live music, all while browsing the unique displays. An art project to make-and-take home will be available for children as well as free face painting. Bremen's Theta Delta chapter of Psi lota Xi has planned and will be hosting this free event, but a donation of art supplies for the Bremen Boys & Girls Gub would be greatly appreciated. SENIORS WELCOME AT JOB FAIR ELKHART The second annual High School Job Fair will be held on Monday, March 26 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Southgate Crossing, located at 27751 CR 26 in Elkhart. The

ROTARY SPONSORS EGG HUNT NAPPANEE The Nappanee Rotary Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 31 at the Callander Sportsplex, 1655 Thompson Drive, just off of CR 7, in Nappanee. The hunt gets underway at 9 a.m., with children eligible for four different age groups. There will be one gold and one silver egg in each group, which contain cash. There will also be giveaways for two bicycles - one for a boy, and another for a girl. The event will be held rain or shine. MUSEUM EGG HUNT WAKARUSA The Wakarusa Historical Museum will be the host site for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, sponsored by the Wakarusa Chamber of Commerce. The Museum is located at 403 E. Wabash Ave. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m., and children ages one through eight can participate. Bring your own basket to collect eggs, and be sure to stay and tour the Museum after.
