CARNIVAL RETURNS GOSHEN - Yellow Creek Mennonite Church will be sponsoring its 14th annual fall carnival, free for the entire family, on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 4-7 p.m. There will be games, bingo, face painting, food, a pre-K game area, hayrides, and family photo opportunities. Obituaries Marjorie Eileen (Brumbaugh) Stump March 5, 1929 - July 21, 2017 NAPPANEE Marjorie Eileen (Brumbaugh) Stump, age
88, formerly of Nappanee, died at 7:20 p.m., Friday, July 21,2017 at her daughters residence in Florence, Ala., where she had resided since December of 2015. She suffered from Alzheimers Disease for the last nine years. Marjorie was bom March 5, 1929 to Clarence and Hazel (Clouse) Brumbaugh in Gravelton. She was one of 11 cJiildren. Marjorie was a 1947 graduate of New Paris High School. On June 19,1948 she married Ralph Stump.
He preceded her in death. After the death of her husband she moved to Alabama in 2008. Marjorie was a homemaker, mother and a doting Nana to her two special grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Diana (David) Henke, Florence, Ala.; granddaughter, Lindsay (Damon) Jolley, Albertville, Ala.; grandson, Jason (Danielle) Henke, Jacksonville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Michael Henke, Ethan and Aaron Jolley; and a sister, Maxine Sharp, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Stump; brothers, Howard and Marvin Brumbaugh; sisters, Bemiece Brumbaugh, Opal Blosser, Mabel Shepard, Delores Fervida, Jane Miller, Bonnie Ressler, and Lois Wisler. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, in Union Center Cemetery. Rev. Frank Ramirez, Union Center Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Huntington, the daughter of Gary Detamore and Madonna (Maybee) Abbott. She married Robert Palmer on June 29, 1996 in Nappanee. She worked in production for six years at Nappanee Wood Products and at United Technologies in Huntington for two years as a manufacturing associate; she was a member of 1.8.E.W. Local Union #983. Kelly was a member of Life Church and Women of the Moose in Huntington. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, crafting, and quilting. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Robert Palmer of Andrews; her mother, Madonna Abbott of Columbia City; two daughters, Kristina Palmer, of South Bend and Tiffany Palmer of Goshen; three brothers, Jim (Missy) Detamore of Warren, Robin (Kim) Detamore of Beme, and Robert (Kira) Abbott of Columbia City; two sisters, Ginger (Shane) FaJimow of Roanoke and Angie Abbott of Columbia City; five granddaughters, a grandson, and many nieces and nephews. The purpose of this event is to introduce new families to the Elkhart County 4-H pro-

At the event, volunteers from the 4-H program will have demonstrations and displays to share many of the great opportunities available in 4-H. It is also a great time to meet and greet 4-H volunteers and find more information about your local 4-H program. 4-H enrollment is free for kindergarten, first, and second graders.
