It could have been worse as the Panthers led 45-0 at halftime and had 467 yards of offense to just 12 for the Eagles, but the starters exited after just one series in the second half and allowed the reserves to finish up the blowout victory. the ensuing series pinned the Panthers at their own 11-yard line, Bilinski hit Bronson Yoder on the first play for an 89-yard TD strike, and Payton Bear's PAT run made it 24-0 Panthers with a minute still to play in the opening period. Things got no better for the Eagles as the second stanza began, as they were forced to punt yet again by the stout Black Crunch defense. The Panthers continued to pile it on, forcing back-to-back three and outs by Columbia City and scoring touchdowns on each of their final two first half possessions. Landen Gessinger was the beneficiary of an 18-yard TD strike from Bilinski for the first score, and Bear picked up his second rushing TD of the night on a 4-yard run for the second as the Panthers took a 45-0 lead

to the locker room. The third quarter was a scoreless affair, with the Eagles punting three times and North Wood turning the ball over on downs deep in Columbia City territory on their first series and the reserves punting the ball away oh the second. The anticlimactic fourth quarter saw the Eagles finally get on the board after a North Wood fumble gave them the ball at their own 36-yard line. Backup quarterback Jacob Bolt then hit Noah Judd with a 63-yard TD strike, and the Eagles were on the board, trailing 45-6 after the PAT kick was wide left. Angry at having yielded a score, the North Wood reserves quickly got it back with a nice 66-yard drive led by Gessinger the Panther backup quarterback who picked up all of the distance himself on four rashes, the last a 4-yard burst on fourth down that made it 52-6 North Wood with just under five minutes remaining.
