its 41st annual girls state basketball tournament, and North Wood will travel to Class 3A Sectional 21 at Tippecanoe Valley next week. The Black Swish (13-9) will play Lakeland (2-18) in the late quarterfinal at the six-team tournament Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. following an earlier game between host and defending state runner-up Tippecanoe Valley (19-1), ranked fourth in the AFs class polls, and Wawasee (7-13). The winner of the North Wood-Lakeland game will play in the late semifinal opposite Fairfield (12-8) Friday at 7:30 p.m., while the Tippy Valley-Wawasee victor advances to face West Noble (14-7) in the early semifinal. The championship is slated for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. North Wood's last sectional title came in 2014 and was the program's fifth straight. Last year, the Black Swish took
