Nappanee Center seeks actors

NAPPANEE The Nappanee Center is seeking volunteers to bring Nappanee history to life by portraying citizens of yesteryear in the third annual production of Night at the Museum from 6 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10. Enthusiastic adults and elementary-school-age children are needed to fill roles. Speaking parts for these characters are very minimal, if any. INCIDENTS The following incidents have recently been reported to officers of the Elkhart County and Marshall County Sheriff's Departments or other local law enforcement agencies: July 25, 12:59 p.m., Marlin Kuhns, Nappanee, reported that between 12:01a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on July 14, his debit card number was fraudulently used 15 times for purchases in Georgia totaling $771.83. July 20, 3:44 a.m. Miguel Oviedo, Wakarusa, was stopped for a traffic violation on SR 19 north of SR 119. Oviedo was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated after failing standardized field sobriety tests and providing a certified chemical test of .14 B.A.C. around 4:52 a.m. Oviedo was incarcerated for operating while intoxicated.
