Diener-Ziegler Gark Addison Ziegler of Wakarusa and Kelsey,Lynn Diener of Nappanee announce their engagement to be married Sept. 13, 2014 at the Trace Cole Residence, Mishawaka. The future bride is the daughter of Rex and Sondra Diener of Nappanee. She is a 2010 graduate of North Wood High School, Nappanee and earned her bachelor's in psychology from Bethel College, Mishawaka in 2014. The future groom is the son of Jeff and Dawn Ziegler of Wakarusa. He is a 2009 graduate of North Wood High School, Nappanee and earned his bachelor's in exercise science from Bethel College, Mishawaka in 2014. He is a construction worker with Leave it to Weaver Construction Co., Nappanee.

Time surely flies

Looking back today, 1 pause. Wasn't it just yesterday that my sons were in elementary school? And surely it wasn't all that long since they both learned to drive. In my moments to ponder, countless memories come to mind. Years ago, I set lofty career goals for myself. Sometimes I became stressed

with deadlines and working late hours, to achieve those goals. Later I recognized that I simply had to set a pattern that could work. I needed to accept each day as a gift and take one day at a time. My new motto served me well. When our two sons get a chance to come home for a good meal and fun times, I can whip together something quickly to provide nourishment - sometimes from a strange assortment of ingredients. I can also quickly pull from memories of the past that provide strategy for daily living. | I recall years ago sometimes feeling inadequate to assist my sons problems with in the classroom or school situations. I cherished opportunities to nurture them spiritually, as well as engaging in healthy dialog. Even

ELKHART COUNTY FAIR The Wakarusa Library will be presenting a children's program at the Elkhart County Fair from 11 a.m. 2 p.m. July 18. The event will take place in the Libraries of Elkhart County booth in Commercial Building E. AUDIO BOOK MONTH Celebrate Audio Book Month during July. "Experiment with a Gassic" Audio Book and register for a chance to win one of several prizes. But we truly are grateful that the life situations that formerly seemed demanding have blossomed into positive relationship connections.
