OVER 'SAFE FAMILY TRAVEL' BEGNS ELKHART As motorists take to the roads this Thanksgiving holiday, offers of the Elkhart County TRaffic Safety Partnership urge everyone to buckle up. Child safety seat inspections will be held in the parking lot of the Encore Movie Theatre, 2701 Cassopolis St, Elkhart now through Dec 1 in conjunction with this season's "Safe Family Travel" campaign. Officers from the ECTSP will be able from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to answer questions about seat belt usage and proper installation of child restraint seats. Any interested parties are invited to visit and ask questions. By educating and encourage the public to use proper safety harnessing, officers of Elkhart County hope to reduce the chance of serious injury and death to motorists during this holiday season. amount of $1205. The company submitted the lowest bid out of three companies vying for the chance to work on mold eradication at the Wakarusa Police Department's home office. Council member Laurelyn Street was the lone holdout on the final vote, opting instead to abstain. The next meeting of the Wakarusa Town Council will be held* on 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Wakarusa Town Hall.
