Gym goes 24-hour, offers new opportunities
By Dam Molnar Editor NAPPANEE Nappanee Health and Fitness is under new management. While ownership still goes to Jason and Jessica Yoder, the couple has teamed up with Eastlake Athletic Club to offer even more amenities to it's growing number of members. 'There's a big investment they’ve made to this community and we want to do everything we can to make sure it's the best" Jason Evers, new manager for East Lake Athletic dub NHF, said. Since partnering with Eastlake Athletic Club, the gym will also have many Eastlakepersonalized group fitness classes for members at no additional charge. ePump, eAbs, eYogaFlex and Zumba will all be offered multiple times per week, mornings and evenings. "For a community this small to have this many classes is amazing," Evers said. Spinning classes are now available for no additional charge, and all classes at the gym are included in the base membership price. Eastlake Athletic Club also offers Healthways Silver Sneakers Fitness Program classes at all of it's locations, including NHF. Members of Silver Sneakers can get a membership at the gym, through their insurance, free of charge. The program is available through many insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, and encourages older adults to stay active and healthy through the free membership options. Outside of group classes, the facility offers top-of-the-line fitness equipment from the Life Fitness Signature Series. • Upon first visits to the gym, trainers will take beginners through proper use of machines and basic fitness tips.
