Tractor show, parade coming to dowtown Wakarusa Oct. 19

WAKARUSA Tractors of all colors, makes and models will line the streets of Downtown Wakarusa, Saturday, Oct. 19. Free registration begins at 8:30 with the show running from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Local non-profit groups will offer biscuits & gravy, donuts and cider and lunch. Several members of the Wakarusa Police Department, including Town Marshal Bob Cunningham listened to Ziegler's comments, while Ziegler told the audience that he is eager to keep all of the current committee members vital and active in the search for a potential site, and that there will almost certainly be public forums in the future to allow the public to voice their opinions.
