Norman L. Murphy Aug. 16, 2013 GOSHEN Norman Leroy Murphy, 78, formerly of Nappanee, died in his home at Waterford Crossing in Goshen on Friday, Aug. 16,2013. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; daughter, Cynthia Murphy of Goshen; three sons, Shannon (Shelley) Murphy of Nappanee, Kevin (Angie) Murphy of South Bend, Stanley (Irene Ortiz) of Nappanee; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-B p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Friday funeral service at Nappanee United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Home Care and Hospice, the American Heart Association, the National Parkinson's Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice. Story Hour is for children ages years to 5 years. This program is held on Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10:15 a.m. A story will be presented along with a craft and an activity. Toddler Time is designed for children ages 25 to 36 months accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Children will have the opportunity to near a story, ao an activity, and create a craft. Registration begins August 19 for both of these classes. Book Bites will be held on August 28 at 10:15 a.m. This is a program that takes place in the children's area of the library and requires no registration. SR 19 TRAFFIC ROUTING TO NUNEMAKER DITCH RUNAROUND BEGINNING AUG. 20 WAKARUSA - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that beginning Tuesday, Aug. 20, weather permitting, SR 19 traffic is scheduled to route to the Nunemaker Ditch runaround, located just south of CR 32/Madison Road - about three miles north of Wakarusa - to allow construction of a small structure over this ditch. The runaround will be in use 24/7, with a 12-feet-width limit in effect. The project is expected to be complete by end of October, weather permitting.
