Kid hits cop cars with skid loader
Staff Retort MILFORD at a Pierceton juvenile facility after striking two squad cars Saturday evening with a skid-loader. Officers from die Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police responded Saturday night at 8:40 pm. to the area of County Road 250 West and County Road 900 North in regards to a juvenile that was out of control. Officers arrived and met with parents of the 15 year old juvenile who explained that their son had fled the residence in a farm implement skid-loader crossing into an adjacent field.
Man arrested on drag charges
A North Webster man is behind bars after being arrested by Kosciusko County officers on alleged drug charges. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers, with the assistance of Kosciusko County Sheriff's Deputies, executed a felony warrant for arrest Monday after a recent undercover drug investigation. The parents stated that their son had become agitated earlier in the evening and subsequently locked the mother from the residence. He had then brandished a baseball bat and machete from die residence and then fled to the skid-loader. Due to the freshly plowed field, the father provided officers with a 4-wheel drive ATV to use in an attempt to apprehend his son. As the deputy and trooper approached die skid-loader, die juvenile suddenly turned the machinery around and then rammed the ATV with the front pallet fork attachment, completely disabling the ATV. The juvenile continued back out of the field approaching marked squad cars on County Road 300 West. The juvenile

Officers attempted to contain the juvenile for approximately an hour in the general area until the juvenile was pepper sprayed and later surrendered to officers. K.C.S.D. officers transported the juvenile to the Pierceton Woods Juvenile Detention Center; Pierceton. Officers are currently forwarding potential juvenile charges of two counts of aggravated battery with substantial risk of death or injury to the Kosdusko County Probation Department.
Prosecuting Attorney Dan Hampton. The Kosdusko County Drug Task Force consist of officers from the Kosdusko County Sheriff's Department that work with other local and neighboring law enforcement agendes to combat the usage and sell of illegal and illidt drugs. The Kosdusko County Prosecutor's Office advises that the defendant's charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
