Leading scorers for the Panthers were Brant Mast with 12 and Brendon Kaser and Caleb Glick with 8. • North Wood wins over Milford The North Wood seventh grade JV boys basketball defeated Milford Nov. 25 47-14. Weston Kemp had 9 points and four steals. Evan Bonne had 8 points and three steals, while Zach Hunting added 7 points. Conner Swihart had six steals and 4 points, Rashan Nisly had seven rebounds and 4 points. The team had a season high 26 steals on the night. The North Wood Panthers seventh grade "A" basketball team defeated West Side Nov. 26 by a score of 53-32. Leading scorers for the Panthers were Caleb Lung with 29, Brayton Yoder with 8 and Brant Mast with 5. • North Wood defeats West Side The North Wood seventh grade boys "B" basketball team defeated West Side 44-10. Rashan Nisly led the Panthers with 15 points and five rebounds. Conner Swihart nad five steals and six assists. This was the third game of the season that everyone on the team scored. The Panthers improved to 10-0 on the season. * Panthers defeat Westview The North Wood seventh grade boys "B" basketball team defeated Westview 57-25. Rashan Nisly led the way with 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals. Evan Bonne had 8 points and nine rebounds, while Luke Holland also had 8 points. The young Panthers scored 67 points in the first three quarters in coasting to the win. Vincent Miranda led with 23 points. Trey Bilinski 15, Jaron Mullet 10, Drew Minnich and Luke Zurcher had 8 each; Travis Stephenson had 7, Spencer Sheline 5, and Cody Cripe 2, as all Panther players scored. Bilinski added seven rebounds and five assists, while Minnich had five rebounds and five assists, and Miranda five rebounds and five steals. team defeated Elkhart West Side Nov. 27 by the score of 54-16. The Panthers jumped out to a 17-0 lead to start the game and coasted from there. Vincent Miranda had 14 points; Trey Bilinski 12; Luke Zurcher 12; and Drew Minnich and Spencer Sheline 7 each; while Travis Stephenson shot for 2. Miranda and Minnich had nine rebounds each and Bilinski added six. Bilinski had four steals and three assists. Zurcher had four assists, and Miranda five assists. The team's record is 11-1 •Panthers defeat Westview The North Wood eight grade "B" boys basketball team defeated Westview last night 29-26. Vince Hershberger hit a last-second, 3-point shot, with the game tied at 26, to seal the victory for the Panthers. Vince had 12 and seven rebounds, while Noah Price added 7 points and six rebounds. Josh Weldy had six steals and four rebounds.
