PHJC MINISTRY Center is currently hiring for the following positions: Safety 6 Support Services A part-time position responsible for ensuring general safety through surveillance of properties (on-going walking and driving rounds), responding to emergency situations, removing snow & ice, and completing logs as assigned. Position supports other sen/ice areas, including light maintenance, cleaning, and switchboard coverage. Training in first aid/AED and CPR, along with EMT Certification are required. This position also requires the ability to retain detailed information, work with others, be physically able to move quickly and to remain flexible and calm under duress. High school degree or equivalent and valid Indiana Driver’s License are required as well as excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and as a team player. Security experience in service oriented background preferred. Hours are 10:30p to 9:00a for 30hrs/wk. on a rotating schedule, including required weekend and holiday coverage. Faciimea Technician A full-time position responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, various alarm systems, and general building maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent and five years experience in building maintenance required. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of construction blueprint and electrical schematic reading. An understanding of energy/performance charts/graphs such as pump curves, refrigerant certification and knowledge of phone & HVAC system controls are desired. HVAC certification also preferred. Normal work hours are M-F, 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. with some irregular hours, weekends, and holidays, as well as a 24 hour on-call rotation.
