Jen and i Patsy (Gushwa) Gurtner celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a brunch at Tippecanoe Place with their family. The couple was married Dec. 23,1961 at Salem United Methodist Church. Their children are Greg (Deb) Gurtner and Troy (Carla) Gurtner. They also have five grandchildren: Sara, Zachary, Mard, Kelsey, and Cameron. Jeri retired after 34 years at UnionNorth School

Yoder, 76, of 2nd B Road, Nappanee, died at 7:05 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at her residence, after a brief illness. Surviving are sisters, Mary (Perry) Bontrager, Millersburg, and Laura (Bill) McGinnis, Colorado Springs, Colo.; brothers: Harley (Inez) Yoder, Penns Creek, Pa., Elmer (Donna) Yoder, Elkhart, and Marvin (Bertha) Yoder, Madison. Visitation was all day Sunday at the Harvey Borkholder Residence (609 2nd B Road). Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6 at the Mervin Miller Residence (980 2nd B Road). Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee assisted with arrangements. tor moecem bxposutb WARSAW—A Warsaw man was arrested by Kosciusko County Sheriff's Deputies for reportedly exposing himself HHBHI to Amish school children. Kosciusko County Sheriff s Deputies were notified Saturday of an indecent exposure incident that had occurred last Friday, Jan. Wr ' 27 outside an Amish school southeast of Nappanee in Darrin Ray Gibbs Kosciusko County. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Detectives continued the investigation into this week, and were able to obtain a license plate number that led them to Darrin Ray Gibbs, 46, 2441 West County Road 250 South, Warsaw. Gibbs admitted to a KCSD detective that he had stopped outside an Amish school in the Nappanee area and exposed and touched himself in view of school children at the location and was then arrested and (preliminarily) charged with felony public indecency/indecent exposure and felony vicarious sexual gratification. Upon further investigation, Gibbs was found to have had two previous convictions of indecent exposure in Michigan in 1989 and 1991. Th# Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office has set Gibb's bond at $2,000. ARRESTS • Kathleen L. Losee, 19, Nappanee, was arrested Jan. 28 by the, Nappanee Police Department for minor consuming an alcoholic beverage and resisting law enforcement. • Bradley D. Hall, 32, Wakarusa, was arrested Jan. 30 by the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department for dealing cocaine. • Annabel Villacrusis, 45, Wakarusa, was arrested Feb. 2 by the Millersburg Police Department for driving while suspended. • Scott A. Shapland, 39, Nappanee, was arrested Feb. 2 by the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department for battery.
