NAPPANEE ÜBRARY SCIENCE CLUB MEETS Enjoy hair-raising experiments at this month's meeting of the Super Science Saturday Gub at the Nappanee Public Library. Kids will meet at 10 a.m. Jan. 28, to experiment with a Vandergraff generator, "static goop" and more. This program for curious kids in grades 1 through 5 is led by Jim Myers and meets at the library monthly during the school year. Space is limited. GED ORIENTATION COURSES BEGIN JAN. 30 Get a High School Equivalency Diploma with the help of the Learning Generation Initiative and the Nappanee Public Library. A series of free GED orientation sessions will be held Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 30 and 31 and Feb. 6 and 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Nappanee Public Library. Students will need to attend all sessions, where they will take several diagnostic tests and learn how to use "Plato," LGl's online study program. LGl's preparation program is offered at the Library weekly and offers flexible study options for working at your own pace. It is designed to meet the individual needs of adults in the five subject areas covered in the GED exam: reading, social studies, math, science and English.
