Panthers crash Fairfield for first victory

Panther freshman Braxton Miller kept his team in it with eight points, including a critical steal and layup at the buzzer to swing the momentum in North Wood's direction. The second period saw the start of the Panthers' defensive stand, as sophomore Will Stueve came off the bench to block a pair of Fairfield shot attempts, while classmates Zac Zurcher and Jonathan Wilkinson and junior Tommy Klem also got in on the "block party" with one each. A free throw by Zurcher at the fiveminute mark gave North Wood a 17-16 lead that they would never
