Alice Mae Beachy Oct 18,2011 NAPPANEE - Alice Mae Beachy, 89, of 9473 W 1050 N, Nappanee, died at 12:32 pjn., Tuesday, Oct 18, 2011 at her residence, following a stroke. Surviving are daughters: Rosanna Qohn - Henry) Buriduddei; Nappanee, Loretta (Noah) Herschberger and Rachel (Edward) Otto, both of Kokomo; 11 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a brother; Daniel A. (Ida) Miller and a sifter, Rosa (Ervin) Miller both of Topeka; and sisters-in-law: Ebna and Elizabeth Miller, both of Topeka, and Wilma and Orpha Miller; both of Shipshewana. [Visitation was after 2 p.m., Wednesday and all day Thursday at Lyle Borkhdder's residence (9457 W. 1050 N.). Funeral services were at 9:30 ajn., Friday at the Ray Kemp residence (%99 W. 1050 N.). Flu dimes planned | ELKHART The Elkhart County Health Department Will be offering seasonal influenza vaccine for adults and children at a walk-in clinic in Elkhart at 608 Oakland Ave. Friday, Nov. 4 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 1 to 3:30 p jn. ! Cost for the vaccine is s2l for adults ages 19 to 64; $36 for adults age 65 and older (this is influenza high dose vaccine); ana $8 for children aged 6 months to 18 vears. Children younger than 18 should be accompanied by a parent or an adult with written permission from the parent All children should also bring their immunization fecord. ; Children with Medicaid will have no charge, but must present the Medicaid card at the time of vaccination. Nappanee citizens filled bags of food and set them curb side to be collected by the emergency responders. Donations filled eight truckloads that were then shared with Nappanee Open Door and the food pantry at Family Christian Development Center.
