Betty helped Don in the insurance agency and was a housewife. Don and Betty have spent their entire married lives in Marshall County. They live in Bremen and enjoy visits from their family. They spend their winters in Honda. There Don enjoys shuffleboard and fishing. Betty enjoys her many activities with friends and neighbors.

DONALDSON - Andlla College has released a list of 85 total students who have graduated in either December 2010 or May 2011. The local student receiving a diplomas from the Donaldsonbased campus was Kaitlyn Randolph (Wakarusa). Andlla College is a Catholic, two-year, co-educational, liberal arts college in Donaldson, Indiana sponsored by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Goshen College GOSHEN Goshen College recently recognized 219 students, including a Nappanee student, for excellence in academics, on the 2010-11 spring semester dean's list. Alyssa Danielle Goodman, daughter of Michael and Kathy Goodman, Nappanee, |a senior studying nursing. She is a 2008 graduate of Nortftyfood High School. The dean's list indudes students earning at least a 3.75 GPA, while completing at least 12 hours of course work for a letter grade. Only grades from the designated semester are included in the selection process. Students earning at least a 3.6 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in Goshen College Division of Adult and External Studies (DAES) also are included in the list a significant achievement since most DAES students are working adults taking highly-personalized night classes. Closed for Fathers Day The Nappanee Public Library will be closed Sunday, June 19, in observance of Fathers Day. Regular hours will resume Monday, June 20, with hours from 9 a.m. to 9 pan. Robot program for boys "Guy Bots" is the name of a new program just for boys at the Nappanee Public Library, Saturday, June 18. Boys ages five and older (with a grown-up guest) are invited to bring in their own materials to make a robot (moving or stationary) at 1 p.m.; hear a story; and watch an animated Disney movie about robots at 3 p.m. Materials to collect for the robot might include recyclables, old electronic or mechanical parts, craft supplies, hardware, etc. A "swap table" will be available for those who wish to share their materials. Participation is free, but space is limited, and registration is required by June 15. Board of trustees to meet The Board of Trustees of the Nappanee Public Library will meet in regular session on Thursday, June 23, at 7 a.m. at 157 N. Main St. The public is invited to attend. Adults summer reading program beginning The Nappanee Public Library Summer Reading Program for teens and adults is beginning soon. With every book read between June 13 and July 31, participants will be entered to win several prizes from area merchants. Anyone age 11 and up is eligible to participate—even those without a resident library card. Stop in the library to register today, and get a temporary summer reading card for checking out unlimited print materials through the end of the program. Participants will be awarded prizes at a special "Summer Travelers" game night to be announced later in the summer (participants need not be present to win). Classic movie in the park showing Enjoy a free classic film at Nappanee's West Park Pavilion Saturday, June 18.
