Houck-Splitt Angela Marie Houck, Nappanee and Kyle Patrick Split*, Nappanee announce their engagement to be married. The bride elect is the daughter of Dr. Verlin and Beverly Houck, Nappanee. She is a 2006 graduate of Fort Wayne Community Schools and a 2009 graduate of Vogue Beauty College in Elkhart. She is currently employed as a certified cosmetologist at the Great Clips in Goshen. She will graduate in April 2011 as a CNA from the Career Center in Elkhart. Her fiance is the son of Mary Jane Langton, Fort Wayne, and Steven Splitt, San Diego, Calif. He is a 2006 graduate of Fort Wayne Community Schools. He is planning on attending college in the fall to pursue a degree in criminal justice. The couple is planning a May 14, 2011 wedding at the Unity Church of Peace, South Bend. Pflrk, cont. from Front struct the designed canine park. Both a small and large dog area will be featured in the new facility designed to entertain canines. There will be water fountains for both animals and their human escorts. Benches will be available for owners to rest on while the dogs play together around fire hydrants and other related props. The new dog park will be located just west of N. Cindy S. Coplen April 9, 2011 NAPPANEE Cindy S. Coplen, 52, of Nappanee, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness. She is survived by her .husband Don; daughter Monica (Justin) Cannon of Syracuse; sons, Ryan and D.J V both erf Warsaw; three grandchildren; sisters: Candy (Jerry) Housouer erf Nappanee; Connie Reynolds of Rochester; and Laurie (Todd) Landry of Warsaw; and a brother Mike Elliott of Warsaw.
