Stella L. Curtis A tank 22, 2011 TIPPECANOE - Stella L. Curtis, 67, of Tippecanoe, died at 4:52 am. Tuesday, Match 22,2011 at Hickory Creek Nursing Horae, Rochester following a lengthy illness. She is survived by sons, Robert (Teresa) Curtis Jr. of Nappanee and David Lee Curtis of Bourbon; four grandchildren; sisters: Suzie Riley, Lucy Balstei, Vicky Dahls tron, Sylvia Glasby, Gloria Bun; and Lorane Osmera; and brothers, Houy Glasby and Paul Glasby. Visitation took place from 4 to 8 pm Friday, March 25 at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St, Algos. Funeral services took place at 10 am Saturday, March 26 at die funeral home. Lipply, 64, of Plymouth, died at 1:30 pm Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis where he had been a patient since Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Linda; a daughter, Shelly (Kip) Diemer of Nappanee; stepsons, Shawn Chain of Bloomington, Eric (Shay) Chain of Clarksville, Tenn.; a grandson; four stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-grandson; sisters, Lynda (Larry) Meadows of Wimauma, Fla., and Jean (Jack) Briggs of Pueblo, Colo.; brothers, Dave (Deb) Hollar of Syracuse, and Bugs (Donna) Hollar of Milford. The class is participating in Swoop's Reading Club, sponsored by the South Bend Silverhawks. As the children reach their reading goals they receive prizes for each base they round, with the 'home plate' prize being a ticket to a Silverhawks game. GOSHEN Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Medical Services is offering Healthcare Provider CPR courses from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. April 16 and 18 at the Elkhart General Hospital Health Education Center, 2222 Rieth Blvd., next to the Lowe's on US 33 in Goshen. Emergency Medical Services is also offering a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recertification course April 14 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Elkhart General Health Education Center. The PALS recertification course is a one-day course designed for the professional who has successfully completed the PALS course yet has a card that is due to expire, or has recently expired. Participants must be inimanaglfig die respiratory, shock and cardiac core cases with PALS algorithms. The course is

intended for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, advanced level EMS providers and any healthcare provider responsible for pediatric emergency care. Course fees are S6O for affiliated providers and EGH employees and $75 for non-EGH affiliated providers. Registration fee does not include textbooks.
