Donnelly announces SSO million investment
WASHINGTON, D.C. Indiana Congressman Joe Donnelly has armdtinoed that the Vehicle Production Group (VPG) has received a SSO million loan from the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) Loan Program to support production of the MV-1 vehicle that runs on compressed natural gas. The MV-1 is a purposebuilt para-transit vehicle, or taxi, designed to serve the disabled community. VPG contracted with AM General for the assembly of the MV1, and production of the wheelchair-accessible vehicle will take place at AM General's Commercial Assembly Plant (formerly the H 2 plant) in Mishawaka. Eighty-four workers that were recently laid off will be rehired with this funding.

Rohde-Yoder Deborah Ann Rohde, Bremen, and Joshua David Yoder, Wakarusa, announce their engagement to be married May 14,2011 in Wakarusa. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Roger and Jeri Rohde. She is a 2005 graduate of Bremen High School and a 2009 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. The future groom is the son of Dennis and Shirley Yoder. She is a 2004 graduate of North Wood High School and a 2009 graduate of Purdue University. She is employed with the Boys and Girls Club of Mishawaka.

Stover Jim and Nancy Stover, Nappanee, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary March 18, 2011. The couple was married March 18, 1961 in Sutherland, lowa. Their children are Linda (Randy) Reese, Des Moines, Iowa; Lori Rollefson, Forest City, Iowa; Lisa (Greg) Nelson, Wapello, Iowa; and Lani (Matt) lemma, Elkhart. They also have 11 grandchildren. Jim is retired from Jayco Inc. as a Senior V.P. Nancy is retired from WaNee School Corporation as a fifth grade teacher at Nappanee Elementary School.
