Math contest winners North Wood Middle School recently held its math contest, and winners were (from left) Teagan Stutsman (seventh grade), Desirae Diamond (sixth grade) and Nolan Mcßride (eighth grade). Earning second-place finishes were Erin Graber (sixth), Michael Gongwer (seventh) and Michael Feller and Kylie Yoder (eighth). Third places went to Jeremy Miller, Drew Minnkh and Joshua Weldy (sixth); and Braxton Mitchell and Ryne Vena bile (seventh).

This event contributed more than 20 additional scholarships totaling over $20,000 for graduating North Wood seniors in the class of 2010. The money donated through this year's Phone-A-Thon will enable many 2011 graduates to receive monetary support that might otherwise not be included.
