Puppet Ministry Photo Provided The Rev. Brent Blough of Elkhart, shown here with more than 50 of his 'friends' who join him as a gospel puppeteer, is marking 30 years since the founding of his puppets ministry for children in June 1981. In 1989, Blough incorporated Andy And Friends as a not-for-profit organization, and is currently looking for individuals to serve on the all-volunteer board of directors. If you'd like to help with Blough's puppet ministry in churches and town festivals in the area, contact him at [email protected].

Crash kills Ohio man IM A Delphos, Ohio man was killed and his female passenger injured in a twovehicle accident July 13 on U.S. 6 east of County Road 29 near Syracuse. Police said Michael Burgei, 62, of Delphos, died at the scene of the crash that occurred around 4 p.m. The passenger, Judy Burgei, also of Delphos, was flown by medical helicopter to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, with non-life-threat-ening injuries. Poice said the Burgei sport utility vehicle was eastbound on U.S. 6 when it crossed the center line in front of a westbound dump truck driven by Stanley Cripe, 57, of New Paris. Cripe told authorities he tried to swerve off the north side of the road to avoid the collision, but the vehicles still sideswiped each other. Cripe was not injured.
