Sharon Kaye Hall July 27,1952—April 25, 2010 GOSHEN Sharon Kaye Hall, 57, of Goshen, died at 11:07 a.m. Sunday, April 25,2010 at Elkhart Hospice House. She was bom in Goshen July 27,1952 to Charles E and Doris Mae (Foudy) Hall and graduated from North Wood High School, Nappanee, in 1970. Sharon enjoyed Indian artwork and pottery. She was an avid reader. She is survived by a daughter, Cara (Brent) Falcon of Goshen; brothers: Larry Hall of Knox, Don Hall of Golden, Colo., Bill (Tina) Hall of Nappanee and David Hall of Golden, Colo.; and sisters: Violet (Ron) Wilkinson of Kendallville, Shirley Hall of Denver; Colo., Hazel Qohn) Metzler of Mesa, Ariz., Nancy Hall of Golden, Colo., Barb Hall of Golden, Colo., Arleen (Randy) Frick of Mishawaka, Esther (Peter) Walker of Littleton, Colo., Patty (Brian) Johnson of Bethany, Okla., and Carolyn (Wayne) Dill of Bremen. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters: Judy Hall, Darlene Hall and Cathy Hall. Cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services was entrusted with arrange ments. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkhart Hospice House. Wayne W. Walters Aug. 2, 1927 —March 19, 2010 SPOKANE, Wash. Wayne W. Walters, 82, of Spokane, Wash., died March 19,2010. He was bom Aug. 2, 1927 in Nappanee, to William J. Walters and Idaßell Stull and later married Irmgard G. Wendte in Germany He is survived by his wife Irmgard; daughters, Evelyn Truitt of Spokane, Wash, and Susan (Frank) Alberts of Roy, Utah; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a sister, Sara Ann Robinson of Wakarusa. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and a son-in-law. Services and interment took place in Spokane, Wash, with Ball and Dodd Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Roberta B. Reprogle April 30, 2010 NAPPANEE Roberta B. Reprogle, 100, of Nappanee, died at 8:10 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at LuAnn Nursing Home. She is survived by a son, Robert Dean (Josephine) Reprogle of Kokomo; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchil-dren; and a sister, Arlene (Charles) Holderman of Nappanee. Visitation took place from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee. Funeral services took place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6 at the funeral home. Burial followed at Stony Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nappanee Church of the Brethren or Southern Care Hospice. Theater-in-the-Round next weekend Every year in May, the North Wood Auditorium is transformed into a theater-in-the-round to give students an opportunity to perform in that medium. Going from a large auditorium to a small, intimate theater space can be a challenge for any actor but the North Wood students always look forward to this production. This year, foe Drama Club will produce "Philadelphia Story." This is a 1939 comedy by Philip Barry that tells foe hilarious story of an upper-class family in the midst of a wedding where foe bride-to-be is caught in unpredictable situations. Engineering on North Oakland Avenue estimate approved Bv Mkrrik Chapman Correspondent NAPPANEE A contract between the City of Nappanee and Lawson-Fisher Associates, South Bend, was approved at the April 26 Nappanee Board of Public Works and Safety meeting. The contract outlined fees not to exceed $232,000. No start date, or projected finish to construction, has yet been released on the project. Water Superintendent/Manager Gale Gerber sent notice to the public that water hydrants will be flushed out through Thursday this week. Flushing began Sunday evening. Gerber said water may temporarily appear discolored but is safe to drink. His only concern was for using the discolored water to wash clothing. He advised using caution in that area.
