Jeanette’s Fabric Boutiqye is going to be taking on sponsorship of two more collections designed to help others share in the spirit of kindness. One such effort is the “One Million Pillowcase Project,” which will enable hospitalized patients, those experiencing homelessness, persons serving in the military, and others facing crisis to experience a touch of home with handmade pillow coverings. Another project on the horizon is “Quilts of Honor,” through which 30 to 40 additional blankets will be sent to Fort Bragg, N.C., in honor of former SSG Travis Hunsberger. Hunsberger was a Wakarusa native and 2002 graduate of North Wood High School who perished on June 27, 2008, while serving in Afghanistan.
