The 2009 fall semester dean's list at Bethel College in Mishawaka carries die names of 474 students according to Vice President for Academic Services Dennis Crocker, Ph-D. Eligibility for die dean's list requires a 3JO GPA with 12 or more semester hours. Nappanee students that achieved that honor are as follows: Christy Brink, Jill Focht, Kelcy Heckaman, Jason Mishler, Alyssa Walter, Brett Walter, Nicole Weber, Haley Yoder; and Mandy Yoder. Bethel College is an accredited Christian college of die arts and sciences offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees in more than 50 areas of study. The current enrollment of more than 2,000 includes students from 34 Mates and Puerto Rico, 20 countries, more than 25 denominations and 16 percent from culturally diverse backgrounds. The English competition saw North Wood winning followed by Concord and Plymouth in second and third respectively. The Science competition found the team from Goshen in first followed by North Wood in second and Concord in third. In the area of Fine Arts, North Wood was the winner; Northridge placed second and Goshen placed third. The final competition was in Interdisciplinary and saw North Wood as the winning school followed by Concord and Warsaw. The next competition is April 20, at Northridge High School, where the teams will attempt to qualify for the State Finals at Purdue University in May.

Easter Celebration Concert Gospel Express Ministries welcomes the community to their annual faster Tour Singsplratlon. Ventriloquist Ryan Bomgardner uuill begin the evening sharing humor and Bible stories with his cast of "friends." The Coblentz, Hostetler, and Stutzman families along with New Creation will blend their voices in song and welcome sing-o-long on some selections. Meagan Coblentz will be singing a few songs from her new recording.

Jude Annual Fundraiser
Photos provided Nicki Wiggins, guidance counselor at Woodview Elementary said the fourth-annual fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the St. Jude math-a-thon, helped raise $4,073.08 for the hospital.
