Dear readers, As economic drcumstances continue along a path of decline, nobody is safe from the changes that must take place as a result; not even vour hometown newspaper. Due to the economic downturn, the Advance News will no longer be able to maintain a permanent office location. We understand that this is not the ideal situation, however we have taken measures to ensure that our readers can still reach us with their news, their questions and their concerns. Please note that this situation is not unique to the Advance News, as two of our sister publications, the Bourbon News-Mirror and the Culver Citizen, are facing the same changes. It has been hard on us all, but the Advance Neivs will pull through, as the Wa-Nee community so often has before. Below is a listing of contact information for the Advance Neivs. Note the phone number to call for classified advertising and circulation has not changed. Classifieds All Advance Neivs classified ads (garage sales, houses for rent, help wanted, etc.) are handled through our Classified Call Center, stationed at our sister newspaper office in Plymouth. Ads may be placed by calling 1-800-933-0356 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Payment must be received before any classified ad can run. For our readers' convenience we plan to establish a regular drop-off point in Nappanee within the next few weeks.
