Also, the Fishers prefer their customers who plan to enjoy the variety of drinks available to come with a designated driver. "I always ask," Fisher said. "If there's a group of people,
Libraries Nappanee More information More information on Nappanee Public Library events is available at 773-7919 or www.nappanee.lib.in.us. Teen book club Those interested in taking part in the teen book club are invited to read "Tantalize" by Cynthia Leitich Smith before the next meeting Monday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. When multiple murders in Austin, Texas threaten the grand re-opening of her family's vampire-themed restaurant, 17-year old orphaned Quincie worries that her best friend-tumed-love interest, Keiren, a werewolf-in-training, may be the prime suspect. Bring a friend and share your thoughts. The club meets the first Monday of each month to discuss a different title or topic. Lullababies Lullababies continues its winter session Tuesdays in February for infants ages 9 to 23 months and their caregivers. This high-energy group meets Feb. 3, 10 and 17 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and gives babies and caregivers the
chance to interact with each other through songs, finger plays, rhymes and more. Designed to match the shorter attention spans of the little ones, Lullababies is lively and entertaining, not a "sit-still-and-listen" kind of program. February story times The Nappanee Public Library children's department continues its theme for story time in January with dinosaurs. Children will enjoy games, songs, crafts and other activities with their favorite prehistoric pals. Preschoolers age 3 to 5 will meet Wednesdays, Feb. 4, 11 and 18 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. or 1 to 1:45 p.m. Toddlers ages 2 to 3 will meet Thursday mornings from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 5, 12 and 19.

generally there'll be a designated driver. 1 will make sure they get home safely." So far Nappanee has welcomed the new business. "The feedback we've been getting so far has been very positive," Fisher said. "Everybody's been positive about our food selection, so it's all been good thus far." Project 112 is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. until the last customer leaves for the evening.
Book club discusses ‘Loving Frank’ The "Cover to Cover Book Club" will meet Sunday, Feb. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. to discuss "Loving Frank" by Nancy Horan. "I have been standing on the side of life, watching it float by. 1 want to swim in the river. I want to feel the current." So writes Mamah Borthwick Cheney in her diary as she struggles to justify her clandestine love affair with Frank Lloyd Wright. Four years earlier in 1903, Mamah and her husband had commissioned the renowned architect to design a new home for them. During the construction of the house, a powerful attraction developed between Mamah and Frank, and in time the lovers, each married with children, embarked on a course that would shock Chicago society and forever change their lives. Drawing on years of research, Horan weaves little-known facts into a compelling narrative, vividly portraying the conflicts and struggles of a woman forced to choose between the roles of mother, wife, lover and intellectual. The club meets at the library the second Sunday each month.
