He is survived by daughters: Ruth Kineses of Mishawaka and Barb Charlton of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren and brother, Ted C. Walberg of Orville, Calif. Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel and one hour prior to services. Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at die church. Cremation followed with intumment at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Nappanee Missionary Church or the American Diabetes Assodaton. The Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home handled arrangements. She is survived by daughters: Mildred (Lester) Bollenbacher of Bremen, Betty (Robert) Whitmer of Nappanee, Thelma (Jerry) Neff of Nappanee, Carolyn (Roy) Weldy of Nappanee and Irene (Dick) Carrie of Goshen; sons: David Miller of Nappanee, Larry Miller of Nappanee, Jerry (Nancy) Miller of Bremen and Steven Miller of Nappanee; son-in-law David Bone; 31 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren and sister, Carrie Seiss of Muncie. Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee and one hour prior to services. Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Nappanee Church of the Brethren. Burial was at Bremen Cemetery. Myers, Fla., formerly of Nappanee, died Monday, Sept. 29 at 3:23 p.m. at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers. She is survived by beloved friend Don Hitsman of Ft. Myers, Fla.; brothers: Sam Hochstetler of Nappanee, Levi (Sue) Hochstetler of Elkhart and Harvey (Elizabeth) Hochstetler of Sarasota, Fla.; sisters: Anna Mast of Nappanee and Amanda Yoder of Sarasota, Fla.; sister-in-law, Mary Hochstetler of Nappanee; brother-in-law, John Mast of Nappanee; 19 nieces, 16 nephews, 32 great-nieces, 45 great-nephews; 19 great-great nieces and 33 great-great nephews. Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 2 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee and one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Nappanee Church of the Brethren. Burial was at Union Center Cemetery in Nappanee. Memorials may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care. Elizabeth V. “Nina" Ulery Oct 1 2008 ELKHART Elizabeth V. "Nina" Ulery, 89, of Elkhart died Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 2:50 a.m. at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by a son, John G. (June M.) Ulery of Nappanee; daughters: Jacqueline (Everett) Blodgett of St Albans, Vt. and Shelia (Kenny) Baker of Ephrata, Penn.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services took place Monday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at Rice Cemetery. Cremation took place at Elkhart Cremation Services. Burial was at Rice Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church or to the American Legion Auxiliary. The Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home and Crematory in Elkhart handled arrangements.

The building burned last Wednesday evening, Oct 1 and despite the efforts of six local fire departments was a total loss. Lett: The ceding is gone over the building that once held Hart Housing. Officials say the fire that claimed the building started in the attic. A cause has not yet been determined.
