Mattern Hannah Whiteleather of Delphi and Austin Lange Mattern of West Lafayette announced their engagement to be married Nov. 1 at Ross Hills in West Lafayette. The future bride is the daughter of Rex and Laura Whiteleather of Andrews. She is a 2003 graduate of Huntington North High School in Huntington and a 2006 graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette

with a degree in technology. She currently works as a veterinarv technologist at Horizon Veterinary Clinic in Delphi. The future groom is the son of Bill and Cheryl Mattern of Nappanee. He is a 2003 graduate of North Wood High School and a 2004 graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette with a degree in agronomy. He currently works at Crop Production Sendees in Attica.

Tri Kappa Gifts Members of the Tri Kappa Associates service sorority met recently at the home of Joyce Riley. Examining the “little kindness" contributions to be donated to the Nappanee Boys & Girls Club arts and crafts program are members Pat Miller (left) and Laura Zell. The sorority members also voted to make monetary contributions to the Open Door, Family Christian Development Center and the Elkhart County jail library program. Co-hostesses for the evening were Marilyn Strakowski and Janet Templeton.
