Ross G. Martin of Nappanee and Krysten Larsen of Ontario, Calif, announce their engagement to be married July 26, 2008 at Grace Fellowship Church, Rowland Heights, Calif. The future bride is the daughter of Kurt and Gina Williams of Ontario, Calif, and Bruce Larsen of Long Beach, Calif. She is a 1999 graduate of Montclaire High School, Montclaire, Calif. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2003 with a bachelor
degree in elementary education. She is employed with Life Action Ministries as a team secretary/financial assistant. The future groom is the son of Dennis and Sherry Martin of Nappanee and Jan Coleman of South Bend. He is a 1997 graduate of North Wood High School and earned his bachelor degree in industrial technology in 2001 from Purdue University. He is employed with Life Action Ministries as a team director/truck driver. An open house style reception will also be held Aug. 16 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Wakarusa Missionary Church.

Colson Yoder Chad and Stephanie Yoder of Milford announced the birth of a baby boy July 9, 2008 at 6:56 a.m. at home. Colson Boone Yoder weighed 8 pounds and 13 1 / 2 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was welcomed by sisters Maddie, 5, and Mia, 2.
Nappanee resident receives S2OO in gas To thank donors for giving blood the week of Independence Day, the Elkhart County American Red Cross held a drawing for S2OO gas cards. Ron Booth of Nappanee was the winner. Booth has been a blood donor for nine years and has donated 35 times. Nappanee library offers tour New cardholders and those interested in learning more about library services can take a guided tour Monday, July 21 at 7 p.m. In addition to discovering where to find current best sellers, a favorite cookbook, or the daily news, participants learn about special services tike NapCAT (the library's computerized catalog), computers and copiers for use in the library, art prints, CDs, DVDs and other materials for loan.
