Jack F. Ingram March 1,1934 to Sept. 26,2007 Jack F. Ingram, 73, of Ridge Manor, Fla. died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at his home under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice. He was bom March 1,1934 in Rockwood, Ala. the son of Harry and Jewell Ingram. Jack graduated from Marietta High School in Marietta, Ga. in 1952 and the University of Richmond in 1960, where he was a charter member of the Epsilon Rho chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Aug. 19 At approximately 1:44 a.m. on Aug. 19, Nappanee police found Jared Wilson, 19, of Nappanee in an alley in the 300 block of West Van Buren Street. Wilson admitted that he had been drinking, though under legal age. Wilson was dted at the Nappanee city court for illegal consumption of alcohol. Aug. 18 At approximately 7:49 p.m. on Aug. 18, Nappanee police officers received a theft call from the Ice Box liquor store. Officers noticed a male subject matching the given description walking northbound on the 100 block of N. Main Street. When officer stopped the suspect, Steven J. Clemens, 44, of Nappanee, they found a bottle of vodka under his shirt. Clemans showed signs of intoxication. Officers learned he had an active warrant through Kosciusko County and took him to the Elkhart County jail with a bond of $4,500. Aug. 25 At approximately 8:28 p.m. on Aug. 25 Nappanee police received a call of a female stumbling on the sidewalk uptown. Officers found the subject sitting on the sidewalk of die 100 block of W. Market Street. The subject, Kelli J. Steenport, 45, of Michigan City, became argumentative and began spitting. Officers also reported Steenport had been drinking. They arrested her for public intoxication and disorderly conduct and took her to, the Elkhart County jail on a bond of $3,000. Aug. 26 At approximately 9:34 p.m. on Aug. 26, Nappanee police officers were called to Bison Ridge, where the victim was allegedly held hostage by her ex-boyfriend, who she claimed was trying to suffocate her. Carl Harman, 45, of Etna Green was charged with criminal confinement and strangulation. He was taken to the Elkhart county jail with a $6,000 bond. A probable cause hearing took place Aug. 27 , Sept. 17 At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 17, the Nappanee Police Department received a call concerning a fight on North Nappanee Street. Officers arrived and arrested Ryan E. Holdeman, 31, of Nappanee for domestic battery and took him to the Elkhart County security center.
